Synopsis

“The Destiny of Jim Hawkins” and “Discovery!” trace the life of Jim Hawkins after his return home from Stevenson’s “Treasure Island.” These two novels explore his life and high-stakes adventures in Bristol and London, England, and as a young surgeon at Haslar Royal Naval Hospital in the middle 1700s. “Raven’s Revenge” is a continuation of this epic saga. Jim’s discovery of fraud, attempted slavery, and his own attempted murder earned him a dangerous enemy, Dr. Herman Franks. After being tried and convicted, Franks has one mission: to get revenge on everyone who helped convict him. Jim Hawkins has no idea that he’s at the top of that list. The cruel English prison system of 1772 turns Franks into even more of a vicious killer. Fighting for survival after his conviction, Franks changes his name frequently to avoid detection as he escapes from his slavery in the American colonies. Jim, his beloved Livian, and their precious baby, Belle, are all in grave danger. The action in this tale of revenge and bloodlust cranks up the tension and doesn’t diminish until the dramatic finish. Other novels by the author, “Discovery” and “The Destiny of Jim Hawkins” can be found in soft cover or eBook at all major online retailers.
