Synopsis

Sergeant Ashton Burns finds himself exiled to what must be the tiniest, most remote village in the Breton countryside. One might ask why he is being exiled because he's a good soldier, but apparently not much of a human being. The powers that be have decided he needs to change that, so he has been dumped here until he grows a heart. He finds the entire situation ludicrous. There's nothing wrong with his heart. The law is supposed to be cold and impartial. It's not supposed to be touchy-feely; but fine, if his commanding officer wants him to find something to be interested in, he'll find something to be interested in. Not his fault the only thing that catches his interest is a two year old murder that nobody wants solved.
