LINDA BATEMAN GOMEZ is founder of the patented natural lip plumper Fullips. In 1986, she lost her 2-month-old son Chad to SIDS. A 25-year volunteer with The Compassionate Friends, Linda and her husband are passionate about giving back to the community. In 2007, they were recognized as National Parents of the Year by the Parents Day Council, and awarded the National Philanthropic Award by St. Vincent De Paul for their family food drive.

MARY LEE CLAFLIN is an author and retired church business manager who lost her 2-month-old firstborn grandson Lane to carbon monoxide poisoning in 1998. Mary Lee also lost her beloved husband in 2013. She served as a hospice volunteer for over seven years and sat with countless people at the end of their life.
