Synopsis

The story starts nearby a small town on a hill. It is evening, a young girl is looking up at the stars in the sky. Suddenly, she notices a light moving towards her and realizes that it is a UFO. She runs, afraid, but a strange beam of light is shot down to her from the UFO and she loses consciousness. The same thing happens to five other people, either in the small town or nearby. When they regain consciousness, they find that they now have powers, super powers. The girl who was on the hill now discovers that she can fly. Her mind is filled with images of a place in the desert and the feeling that she must go there. When she arrives, she meets the other five people who have had the same thing happen to them, but each of them have different powers. They find the UFO hidden in a cave and a dying alien inside (a good alien from the race known as the Nemis) who says that he has given them powers so that they can be Protectors against the aliens called The Reapers (the bad aliens) who are coming to invade their world. They escape the UFO just before it explodes. The small group must now decide what to do.
