Synopsis

There is only one thing to do when a dictator mistakes you for a spy: survive.

When a South American dictator puts a plan in motion which will end with the assassination of the Vice President of the United States, only one CIA operative can stop it. Unfortunately, an average traveling salesman is all they’ve got. Norman Maxwell, Max to his friends, is boarding a flight to make the biggest sale of his life when he switches seats with a friendly stranger. After all, who would pass up the free upgrade to first class? He’s a regular guy and deserves a break. A case of mistaken identity gets him kidnapped and taken to a dictator’s jungle base. Now, Max is all that stands between a sinister conspiracy and the survival of a nation. Fans of Clive Cussler, Brad Thor, and Vince Flynn will love this of fast-paced action thriller.

Author Bio:

Roger Beattie was born the son of a sheep farmer in rural Idaho, and then further raised in Utah. He has spent most of his career starting and running small businesses, from a janitorial services company to the real estate investment business that currently pays the bills. While selling ski equipment out of the back of his truck, he met the love of his life, to whom he has now been married 42 years. He participated in raising his two sons to adulthood. He has probably owned 50 different cars throughout his life. He spends his time worm farming, teaching small business skills to new entrepreneurs, learning to speak Spanish, working in his garden, and pretending to go to his day job. But he owns the company, so nobody really complains.
