Synopsis

The comfort of home is not always attractive when we see other people and places as more exciting, but it is not always true that the ‘grass is always greener’ somewhere else. Karen Evans Odell uses a play on words to develop the amusing characters and also shows the reader that ‘home can be where the heart’ really is after all. Experience can show that happiness can be closer at hand than we imagine. The beautiful settings and colorful characters add dimension to this children’s picture book.
