Norma Batastini is a nationally known teacher of rug hooking and rug design. She teaches classes in northern New Jersey and workshops around America. Introducing new people to the world of rug hooking is one of her joys―she believes that art and personality mix and come together to make the best hooked rug designs. She is Director of Rugs by the Sea in Cape May, New Jersey, and owns Heart in Hand Rug Hooking, a pattern and wool supply business. A frequent writer for Rug Hooking magazine, she serves on the editorial board of the magazine. She is a proud mum and grandmother―and all those kids have a special rug!
