Veronica Subbota is a Russian-based artist. This book was written and illustrated during the Rus- sian war against Ukraine which made sending payments to the artist from the publisher, very difficult. Veronica worked under arduous conditions in the South of Russia but despite her ducks being in a deep state of distraction during this war, she did a magnificent job.
