Ron Collins Ron is an Amazon bestselling Dark Fantasy author who writes across the spectrum of speculative fiction. His series Saga of the God-Touched Mage was the #1 dark fantasy on Amazon’s list in the UK (#2 in the US). His fiction has received a Writers of the Future prize, a CompuServe HOMer Award, and a nomination for the Short Mystery Fiction Society’s 2016 Derringer Award. He has contributed a hundred or so short stories to SF publications such as Analog, Asimov’s, and several editions of the Fiction River Anthology Series). He and his wife, Lisa, now make their home in the shadows of the Santa Catalina mountains. John C. Bodin By nighttime, John is a well-known superhero of the sim racing community, and is a tireless advocate of the sport. He can be found on the iRacing track forum boards pretty much every day, and is a staunch advocate of new racers. He spends hours helping new members get comfortable in what can feel like an intimidating environment. He also works at developing mods and hardware that supports virtual racers everywhere. In the daytime, John now works at a major pharmaceutical company as a process automation engineer in the information technology field. He lives in Indianapolis, Indiana, with his wife, Tammy, his daughters Sadie and Ellie, and a basketful of puppies. ----- John C. Bodin and Ron Collins met while working at the Naval Avioncs Center, located (naturally) in Indianapolis, Indiana. They quickly learned they both had affinities for automobile racing and day-tight compartments. Only some years later did they realize they both were writing on the side, a pairing that led to them being involved in the same writers group. Somewhere along the way, John got Ron hooked on sim racing (that’s Ron’s story, anyway), and they joined the Virtual Online Racers (VOR) as a team racing in the Grand Prix Legends simulation. From that point forward, a literary collaboration was pre-destined.
