Anurag Kumar is a Paediatric Surgeon, with over thirty years of experience. He has medical degrees from the King George's Medical College, Lucknow, and from the Christian Medical College, Vellore.

He has worked in hospitals spanning the entire spectrum from government hospitals to industrial hospitals to hospitals in the corporate sector. He is currently a free lancing private practitioner in Bilaspur, Chhattisgarh.

He brings to his job an optimum blend of medical knowledge acquired through long years of arduous training, and the innate sensitivity of human nature, giving him a viewpoint that is, at once, both clinical and sentimental.

Anurag also has this creative streak which allowed him to dabble in theatre and stagecraft, and eventually led him to his tryst with writing.

For him, this book of ‘stories’, is a catharsis of sorts, a journey through life changing events of the past, written with an unabashedly personal flavour.

He hopes this is just the beginning.
