Kaffe Fassett is internationally-­ acclaimed as one of today s leading contemporary colourists and textile designers. Colour and pattern are his obsessions, with his first venture into textiles being in yarns, knitting, and knit-­ garment design. Caffe Fassett s unique garments have been commissioned by Barbra Streisand, Lauren Bacall, Ali McGraw, Shirley MacLaine, Helen Frankenthaler, and many more. His work was the subject of a one-­ man show at the V&A London in 1988, the first time a living textile artist was honoured in this way and his fabric lines for Westminster Fabrics are highly sought after by quilters worldwide.
