Synopsis

A wave of curiosity in the prophetic ministry is sweeping up many in a deluge of deception. This counterfeit movement may be among the ominous signs of the last days. An obsession with "prophecy, signs, and wonders" can contribute to an unhealthy attraction to anything determined to be supernatural. In Matthew 16:4, Jesus declared, "A wicked and adulterous generation seeks after a sign...." False prophets amaze people by calling out phone numbers, addresses and declaring meaningless prophecies. However, unknown to the masses, false prophets use divination, the same power fortune-tellers and psychics have used for centuries.
This thought-provoking book examines actual cases of false prophets in action revealing their secrets and subterfuge. You will learn what a legitimate prophetic message is and the specific characteristics to detect false prophecies. You will also discover how people that have itching ears for "a prophetic word" and lust after wealth, create an environment for false prophets to thrive. This powerful book also investigates the legitimacy of the "schools of prophets," and how some of these schools teach mystical arts. Even if you attend a church where false prophets are not going forth, they still have a commanding presence on the internet and enter households through popular social media sites. The Bible warns, "My people are destroyed from the lack of knowledge!" Therefore, be informed and forewarned, because false prophecy could be creeping into your home or coming to a church near you!
