Synopsis

This volume presents the proceedings of the Third International Conference on Science and God (ICSG III), held online in April 2022, under the theme, “Environmental Restoration in the Era of Frontier Science.” Following the trend set by ICSG I and II, this conference brought together prominent scientists whose research offers new approaches to resolve environmental challenges and demonstrates that we have entered the postmaterialist era in science. The keynote speech, given by Prof. Lisa Miller of Columbia University Teacher’s College, observed that science is awakening us to our inner, spiritual dimension. Additional presentations incorporated an analysis of a postmaterialist perspective, as well as phenomena that cannot be explained by materialist thought. The conference included a talk on energy medicine and another on new energy technologies that minimize the production of greenhouse gases. The meeting concluded on the hopeful note that if people recover their connection with nature and with God, the Earth will enjoy a bright future.
