Roused from his sleep, fourteen-year-old Adam Simmons is forced into a nightmare of reality. Without explanation, his father hastily packs a bag with the bare essentials and demands that Adam leave immediately through his bedroom window. Glancing back to see his father waving goodbye, Adam watches as his house suddenly explodes, apparently killing his parents. Instantaneously, Adam’s world ceases to exist. With his hockey bag and a face full of tears, he must continue his journey into this nightmare. Armed only with his ingenuity, Adam searches for answers. Discovering that he is being stalked by some very dangerous people, Adam becomes desperate and seeks the assistance of his closest friends, which proves to be disastrous: one by one, they are kidnapped. Feeling responsible, Adam persists through the arduous tasks of finding his friends and solving the puzzle that has become his life. With the aid of some odd newfound acquaintances and using skills he never knew he possessed, Adam learns that even nightmares can have a happy ending—and, yes, there is a Santa Claus!

Paperback. Etat : Good. All bets are off in A. Fleming's steamy debut, The Chase. The first in a four book series, this erotic novel gives readers a one-of-a-kind look into the lives of five men as they embark on adventures in dating, romance, marriage, and sex. Tony Dunbar, Will Rollins, JP, Greg Allen, and Chris Winters have been friends for ages. But they each find themselves at a crossroad when the married men struggle with the realities of monogamy as the single men attempt to traverse the complicated world of dating. While most members of the group seek a relationship full of love, commitment, and plenty of physical intimacy, the lure of trying to have it all sometimes proves to be just a bit too strong. But even while Tony, Will, JP, Greg, and Chris witness ladies coming in and out of their lives, they come to appreciate the type of woman who can say what she wants and communicate her needs (in and out of the bedroom ). While each one has her own deep-seated desires and hidden fantasies, these women essentially prove to be the foundation from which this group of buddies discovers their true manhood. As the men discover hard earned truths about themselves and the women they come to love, they attempt to honestly examine the harsh reality of relationships and sex in a way that will leave readers awed. and aroused. Full of raw passion and plot twists that audiences will never see coming, The Chase tantalizingly toes the line between romance and pure pleasure. So sit back, relax, and get comfortable with a sinfully salacious read. The Chase has all the sex, drama, and page-turning eroticism that will keep readers breathless till the next round.
