Mr. P Janardhan Upadhya studied M.A Economics from Mysore University. He has taught economics for more than 40 years for B.Com, BBM, BA, MA, MBA, M.com classes in various colleges of Mysore and Bangalore Universities. He retired as Head of Department of Economics at Acharya Pathasala College of Commerce, Bangalore – 19 in the year 1995. Post retirement, he worked as HOD as Economics in the EAST WEST college of Management for about four years and also was the HOD of Economics in the R.K and K.K institutes of Management studies, Bangalore. He has travelled many countries like USA and has broadened his knowledge base on the subject. He has authored many books and also has co-authored “Business Economics” with M.L. Jhingan written for MBA students.
