MICHELLE TEA is the author of numerous books for grown-ups, including Modern Tarot, Valencia, Black Wave, and the young adult fantasy trilogy Mermaid in Chelsea Creek, Girl at the Bottom of the Sea, and Castle on the River Vistula. Her books have been published in Italian, German, Slovenian, and Japanese. She has written for Harper's, The Believer, Artforum, n+1, Cosmopolitan, Lenny Letter, Buzzfeed, and other print and web venues. She is the creator of the international phenomenon Drag Queen Story Hour, and founding Editor-at-Large of the online parenting journal Mutha Magazine. Michelle lives in Los Angeles with her wife and son. She is an Aquarius with a Leo rising and a Sagittarius moon.

MIKE PERRY (illustrator) is an artist, animator, poet, author of 12 books, and brand consultant. He is popularly known for his work on BROAD CITY, but that is just the tip of the iceberg.
