Synopsis

When it turns out her date is meeting someone else, Chō struggles with feeling like she might be invisible. After a string of late-night attacks, Chō comes face-to-face with a horrible monster.

Kuchisake-Onna is inspired by the Japanese story of the slit-mouthed woman. This adaptation incorporates the nation's folklore and brings it to a modern setting.

A propos du livre

À propos de l'auteur

K.N. Nguyen is a fantasy author and founder of DragonScript. Growing up, she often found herself immersed in some imaginary world, conquering enemy nations, and saving the day. As time went on, her love for horrible puns and nerd culture pulled her out of these worlds and brought her back to reality. It wasn't until she started working at her office job that she felt the itch to begin writing. Since 2015, she's been bringing her stories to life, one-by-one, and following her passion by delving into new mythologies. A native of Sacramento, California, K.N. Nguyen spends her time singing karaoke, playing taiko, enjoying rhythm dancing games, and traveling with her friends and family when she isn't writing.
