Synopsis

720 years before the current era will begin, Zaccarias made a promise to Deity. He and his descendants would follow her commandments and for their faith, they would receive extraordinary blessings. For Zaccarias, knowing that Estoliana would be his reward made it easy to promise. He and Estoliana would teach their descendants what Deity required. So long as they followed her commandments they would know prosperity for all time. For 87 generations, the descendants of Zaccarias have kept his promise to Deity. Only twice was their promised prosperity threatened. By the 20th century of the current era, Estolia was a modern nation. The promise of Zaccarias was still her guiding principle. Lies and deceit threatened all that Zaccarias and 87 generations of Estolians worked to establish. Even if they can overcome this new challenge to Zaccarias' promise, there are other outside influences that are gaining momentum. When the individuals with global power put profit over progeny, is there any way to save the planet from imminent ecological destruction? What can the inhabitants of one tiny island nation do to stop the pestilence of power hunger?
