From bestselling author Matthew Le Merle comes the story of who really created Bitcoin and what went wrong. For more than a decade we have wondered ‘who is Satoshi Nakamoto?’ – the mystery shrouded inventor of Bitcoin. Despite the world’s greatest and most powerful minds trying their utmost to find out, we are none the wiser. Who is he, she, or they? Why was Bitcoin created? What was its purpose? In parallel, beginning at the time of the attack on the World Trade Center, the last twenty years have seen an unprecedented period of innovation, creativity and disruption on a global scale. New inventions have multiplied, every country, industry, and business has been fundamentally altered, and we all live very different lives today. Global crises have come and gone and come again, terrorist threats have multiplied and new distributed organizations have been established to preserve privacy, freedom and independence. Tensions have arisen as deeply felt values and perspectives have increasingly clashed head on head with each other. The Ministry of Bitcoin answers some important questions. Who are they? Why are they doing this? What does it mean for each one of us?
