Matthew Le Merle is co-founder and Managing Partner of Fifth Era and of Keiretsu Capital-the most active early stage venture investors in the world. Matthew grew up in England before living most of his life in Silicon Valley where he raised his five children with his wife, Alison Davis. Today he splits his time between the United States and the UK. By day he is an investor in technology companies, manages Blockchain Coinvestors, and is a bestselling author and speaker on innovation, investing and the future. In his spare time, he enjoys reading, writing and photography. He was educated at Christ Church, Oxford and Stanford University and is an adjunct professor at Singularity U. Alison Davis is co-founder of Fifth Era. She is an experienced corporate executive, public company board director, an active investor in growth companies and a bestselling author on the topics of technology and innovation. Currently she serves on the boards of Collibra, Fiserv, and Silicon Valley Bank, and chairs the advisory board of Blockchain Capital. She was CFO at BGI (Blackrock), managing partner at Belvedere Capital, and a strategy consultant at McKinsey and A.T. Kearney. Alison has degrees from Cambridge (MA/BA) and Stanford (MBA). She was born in Sheffield, England, and has lived for the last 25 years in the San Francisco Bay Area where she raised her family with her husband, Matthew C. Le Merle.
