KIM BLACK WELL'S ENTREPRENIAL spirit and desire to help others was inspired by her grandparents, who owned two dry cleaners and a variety store in Philadelphia Pennsylvania. Her memorable encounter with a special needs child, while working at the variety store, led her down a life path of service. As a sales representative, Kim aided families in securing their financial futures by selling life insurance and investing their money in IRAs. Kim later facilitated the preparation of effective advertising campaigns for real estate companies and agents at the Los Angeles Times finally, as the founder and owner of unique designs she marketed and distributed artwork for African and African-American artists along the West Coast. She coordinated art and trade shows for her artists Work and created unique designs.com and the unique designs cable television show to display their impeccable creations. Now as the author of From Stroke to Recovery, My Walk with God, A Guide to Recovery Kim Blackwell shares her many challenges and victories of the massive stroke she suffered in 2008 which changed her life forever.
