The bible defines faith this way… Now faith is confidence in what we hope for and assurance about what we do not see. (Hebrews 11:1) If you have a fantastic day, read the next verse. If you have a difficult day, read the next verse. If you are blessed with a beautiful family, home, and job, read the next verse. And if you live on the streets right now, read the next verse. Regardless of our season in life and how difficult it may or may not be, we need to read the bible on an ongoing basis and live out its truths by faith. The Psalmist put it this way, Teach me your way, Lord, that I may rely on your faithfulness; give me an undivided heart, that I may fear your name. (Psalms 86:11)

The author suggests you obtain a readable translation of the Bible that fits your aptitude. He prefers the New Living Version or New International Version. (Obtaining a study bible, using one of these translations, would be even more profitable.) Underlining and highlighting is encouraged.
