Synopsis

Have you ever ached so badly for someone special, you whispered their name to feel better? Have you ever been so overflowing with anger that you wanted to scream in your back yard? Have you ever felt so deliriously happy, you burst out laughing? And through it all, did you wonder if you were the only one who ever felt that way?

Soul Sketches, 2nd Edition is, quite simply, an exploration of the human experience. Starting in 1986 while in college, Tim Ritter began writing poems and short stories which chronicled events in his life. Honest, poignant, and at times jarring writings filled the pages of his journals as he spent the next three decades pouring out his soul through his pen, exploring such subjects as love, marriage, divorce, death, depression, and sexuality. His short stories touch upon a variety of subjects, from childhood memories of a first crush, to facing a bully, to a humorous account of the first date with his wife.

To read the pages of Soul Sketches, 2nd Edition is to find a bit of yourself, and a reassurance that whatever you have experienced, you are not alone.
