Synopsis

Do you find that the cares and pressures of this life can be overwhelming?

We all struggle with worry, fear, and anxiety in some way. You’re far from alone if you struggle with anxiety. Humans—as far back as we can find written documentation—have always dealt with worrying about things that might go wrong.

We’re preemptively anxious, stressed, and afraid about scenarios that likely will not happen. The truth is, anxiety permeates our minds and hearts.

What is the point of our worrying? What does it benefit us? Is there a way to escape the fears that so easily consume us?

Jeff Simmons is the founder and lead pastor of Rolling Hills Community Church in Franklin, Tennessee. He also serves as the president of Justice & Mercy International, a nonprofit that exists to make justice personal for the poor, the orphaned, and the forgotten of the world. He received his bachelor’s from Baylor University and his master’s from Southwestern Theological Seminary.

In Eyes of Jesus, Pastor Jeff explores how Psalm 23 provides comfort for those who trust in God, including:

  • The meaning of “shepherd” as it applies to God’s character
  • How to address the true root of anxiety
  • What it means for God to lead, refresh, and guide you
  • The purpose of the valleys in your life
  • God makes and keeps His promises to you
  • The secret to contentment in all circumstances

Plus, a workbook section following each chapter will help you connect to the Source of true peace: Jesus.

The secret to freedom from anxiety ultimately comes down to your heart. God created you, and He wants you to have an ongoing, growing relationship with Him. He offers deep reassurance and hope, even in the most difficult circumstances.

Buy a copy of Eyes on Jesus today and see how turning your eyes on Jesus can allow Him to fill you with a peace that is not of this world.
