The present volume hasn’t been written originally in a form of book. It may be considered a thematic well-arranged collection of my research works of last few years focusing on a particular area of social science. The vulnerability can be defined as the diminished capacity of an individual or group to anticipate, cope with, resist and recover from the impact of natural and man-made troubles. This is equally applicable to the days of past and present.
