Ryan grew up in a few different small Montana towns. After his first child was born when he was a senior in high school, Ryan decided to put his artistic dreams on hold and secured a business degree from Montana Tech. After over 15 years in the corporate world working in talent development, recruiting, and HR, he completed his first novel. Since then, Acra has completed several books for young readers while contributing to, and publishing books for all genres.

Jessie grew up near the Highwood Mountains and picked up a pen and paper at an early age. She has been dabbling in the arts her whole life and is currently a dental hygienist by day and an artist/potter by night. Being a busy momma of two has made her more aware of children's books and she is having fun diving in to the illustrating world!
