Synopsis

This book contains stories about characters and their adventures that I have written in the past fifteen years. Some are true stories, some are hilarious stories, some are very short stories (Flash Fiction or Flash Nonfiction stories of 500 words or less.), and some are personal stories of my life’s adventures and trials. All stories are figments of my imagination, my views of life, or stories of people in my life. None take more than ten minutes to read.
“The Rough Looking Cowboy” may bring tears to your eyes, but has a happy ending. You must read “The Refund.” A story about a busybody neighbor and the IRS error . It is humorous when one of the characters packs her bag for jail. “The Memory Quilt” is a true story, though the names have been changed. Miss Farrah has little to live on, and makes quilts from scraps of material to survive. She is a very proud, independent woman who resists asking others to help her.
If you enjoy ghost stories, make sure you read “The Blue Bottles”, “Leather Book” and “The Ghost of the Eastern Shore Art Center.”
“Sunset at the Pier” is a true story of my husband and me one evening at the Fairhope Pier. It is hard to believe “Only in my Family” is true and all the events occurred in three weeks. “Buffalo Roamed the Streets of Fairhope”, “I’m Waiting “and “The Prediction” will have you roaring with laughter.
There are forty stories. Enjoy them all.
