Paul Templer, a former African safari guide, survived being attacked by a rogue 8,000 lbhippopotamus, life-threatening ailments, and devastating heartbreak. Along the way, he marked himself with eleven tattoos, each rich in meaning. Paul Templer has never really been able to hold down a proper job, so he settled for adventurer, entrepreneur, philanthropist, author, and speaker. Paul loves being a dad and relaxing while enjoying a cup of coffee.

Rebecca M. Simons, an unwittingly provocative theologian, uses wisdom and sassy observations to reveal the tattoos' encouraging life lessons -- making them accessible and applicable to all. Having grown up in rural Wisconsin and now living in the urban landscape of Chicago, Rebecca is a blend of small-town approachability and sassy sophistication.
