About the Author

Eric Stiles is a US Merchant Marine Engineering Officer and Leadership Instructor at Marine Training Institutions around the country. With a lifetime of experience in teambuilding and leadership instruction, Eric has become a sought-after authority on the subject. In this work, his personal worldwide experiences are related to how and why teambuilding works. Mr. Stiles is a US Army veteran. He wrote doctrine and taught Leadership at NCO Academies. He has an MSA in Organizational Administration from Central Michigan University. He has an undergraduate degree from Saint Leo University in Liberal Arts, and he graduated summa cum laude while on active duty, attending college at night and teaching during the day. Mr. Stiles led many cutting-edge projects in the Southern Hemisphere offshore industry, building a reputation as ‘the guy you want to work with.’ He lives with his family in Ocala, Florida, where he runs a business and a charity.
