Synopsis
Kate and Eric have no idea that they have been lied to. But Nick does. Having fallen into their new routines, focused as always on being productive members of society, neither Kate nor Eric suspect that their seemingly simple lives have been altered without their consent. Nick, on the other hand, knows too much. His research on the brain leads him to discovering glaring inconsistencies within Tier 1, perpetuated by their local governing Committee. With Kate beginning to struggle, the guilt of this knowledge eats away at him, and Nick is left asking whether the Tier System deserves his loyalty after all.
