Elizabeth Servin is a mom and currently works as an Elementary School Counselor in a dual immersion program. As a School Counselor, she helps students with their social and emotional health while cultivating biculturalism. As a current doctoral candidate, she believes that anyone can achieve the unimaginable despite cultural, economic, and societal barriers.As a bilingual woman author of color, Elizabeth understands the importance of using effective language to communicate with confidence and self-advocacy.

Jennifer Martinez is the Operations Manager (editor, author, creative designer and translator) for IMPACTPublishing, Inc. She spent most of her childhood and adolescence feeling abandoned by her father and a burden to her mother. Her teenage parents divorced when Jennifer was a toddler due to domestic violence. As a divorced mother, Jennifer has made it her goal to make sure that her son feels happy, safe, and loved by both parents. One of her proudest personal accomplishments has been building and sustaining a healthy co-parenting relationship with her son's father. Jennifer has been advocating for and empowering brain injury survivors since 2010. Today, she is also a life coach and coaches others to a position of empowerment, believing they have ALWAYS been enough so that they may experience freedom from failures, fears, and mistakes.As an author, Jennifer hopes to inspire readers to believe their voice matters and know they are enough.Jennifer was born and raised in San Antonio, TX, and has lived in Camarillo, CA, with her son, Jacob, since 2008. She lives an active lifestyle to balance her intake of breakfast tacos, barbecues, and burgers.
