À propos des auteurs

Amy Kerns is a children's book author and mom of three whose stories are inspired by the humor, heart, and little moments that make everyday family life so special. Her debut children's book, Harlow Learns He's Loved, was inspired by a real-life moment between her firstborn son and beloved family dog and explores the idea that a family's capacity for love only expands as the family does. Her second book, Mismatched Socks, grew out of another familiar parenting reality: the seemingly endless pile of socks without a match. With playful rhyme and a simple message, the story reminds little readers-and their parents-that sometimes things don't have to be perfect to be just right.Amy lives in New Jersey with her husband, their three children, and two golden retrievers. When she isn't writing, working in corporate America, or navigating the beautiful chaos of life with three kids, she loves cooking shows, swimming, and spending time with family and friends.

Chelsea Farr, early on, found her creative streak through photography & graphic design. Since 2015, she has been editing and designing books, professionally. In 2019, she co-founded Fox Pointe Publishing and to date, has worked on and approved scores of titles (and counting.) Chelsea lives in Denver, CO, with her husband and her fur-baby, Spunky.

As an animal lover and kid at heart, it's been my life goal to illustrate children's books. I'm so thrilled and grateful to be realizing my dream.Inspired to use my talents in a more meaningful way, I said goodbye to Corporate America in 2016 and formed my own business, Lellow Lolly. My professional experiences within the print/publishing field equipped me with the skills to start my own business, support a freelance career, and reconnect with my natural inclination; illustration.I'm a graduate of the Rochester Institute of Technology with a BFA in Illustration and MFA in Painting, having learned under the direction of illustrator Bob Dorsey (American Greeting Card Company, Disney Press, Baseball Hall of Fame.) While attending RIT, I also had the privilege of meeting and participating in a critique with award-winning children's book author Jerry Pinkney; an experience that solidified my passion for illustrating children's books.I've long believed that life is a story, with each journey or phase one chapter of the greater whole. How exciting that in writing my own next chapter, I'm also helping others tell their stories, too.
