K.J. Field is an author, screenwriter, and planet whisperer who's been writing about the solar system since the New Horizons spacecraft flew by Pluto in 2015. She has authored a number of space-themed fiction and non-fiction children's books, with more on the way! One of her favorite things to do as a writer is mix humor and science.Field is the voice behind the Planet Pluto on Twitter (Follow her X account @Plutoliveshere) and has been featured on BBC Radio Five Live for her expertise on dwarf planets. She hopes to someday soon turn her screenplay about the plights and delights of a personified Pluto into an animated movie for all ages.
