Sommer Michelle Garner is passionate about children's literacy and literature, fitness, spending time with her husband, helping out at her church, teaching singing, and engaging in many other aspects of the arts. She takes turns spending her time immersed in each of these areas. This is her sixth published children's book, and the third book in her Life Lessons Through Letters series, which is essentially books that are for kids, by kids. In her teaching and her writing, Sommer believes that it is important to involve students in the artistic and creative processes as much as she possibly can. Sommer recently relocated from southcentral Pennsylvania to Wildwood, Florida, and is happy to finally have her turn to live in the Sunshine State.

Lucy Thompson is a twelve-year-old girl who loves to draw, read, and play viola. She lives with her mom and sister in York, PA. This is her first time illustrating a book and she plans to do more!

Isaac Bowers is an avid fifteen-year-old reader, gamer, and author, an explorer of nature, a lover of science and technology, a student of engineering, and a pretty good cook! This is his first experience as book designer and co-editor for P.A.V.E. Press and he plans to use these skills for future publications of his own.
