Synopsis

“Words can be like X-rays if you use them properly – they’ll go through anything. You read and you’re pierced.” (Aldous Huxley, Brave New World)

Splashed across the following pages, you will find the inner musings of a poet’s soul written in prose, letters to people full of things I have never told them, and probably should have. This book is filled with could haves and should haves, much like life. Maybe this is my way of absolving those regrets and giving life to thoughts that were long since buried. If you think a letter is for you, maybe it is, but maybe it isn’t. If I don’t know you yet, but you find yourself resonating with the words in a particular letter, then maybe it was for you all along. I’m not sure if I believe in coincidences or not, but I know things usually work out how they were always supposed to. At least, I hope I’m right about that. A lot of my life has been predicated on that notion.

“Words are, of course, the most powerful drug used by mankind.” (Rudyard Kipling)
