Synopsis

Maggie is an adventuring Wizard who returns home from her quest to find it in total disrepair. The garden is overgrown, the food is all rotten, and dust is covering everything. Adam Ross is the founder and primary author of First Fantasy Books. He earned his Master of Arts in Teaching, and taught for six years before starting on this passion project. During his time teaching, he witnessed students struggling to engage with the content they were being offered, especially in Early English Readers. He wanted to create content that was entertaining as well as developmentally appropriate. With these books, Adam hopes to encourage a love of reading and a sense of belonging for all readers.

Kcie Monk is a fantasy illustrator who loves all things magical and whimsical. While always keen to try any medium, she has a love for watercolors, acrylics, inks and digital art. This is her first time illustrating a published picture book! Her other interests include music and teaching. She has a degree in French horn performance and has taught reading and English for the past 8 years. Two of those were spent in Sapporo, Japan as an assistant language teacher.
