Synopsis

Peter is terrified—aware of his losing battle with Alzheimer’s and unable to communicate with his loved ones gathered around him. She cannot stand for this. In this story of family obligation, existential terror, and revolutionary optimism, Peter and Johanna must struggle against their given lots in life for something greater—an overcoming of despair and an indestructible hope for a more human future.

Tim Rousseau is an author and screenwriter with stories appearing in Sledgehammer Lit, After the Pause, and The Antihumanist, among others. His writing has won a Solas award for Men's Travel Writing, and his screenplays have been produced into several award-winning films. He lives in Brooklyn with his wife and cat.
