As I started reading Removing Interference, I realized that Courtenay's work was what I needed in my life. So often, I get pulled in different directions, and remaining who I was became challenging. Her poetry brought me to a time when I approached life with wonder because there was less, by less - I mean less worry, stress, and anxiety about things I could not control. As I moved through her work, I found a sense of calm or an oasis - if you will - in the desert of life: A place where I could renew my spirit to face life's challenges.
