À propos de l'auteur

April Scales spent over three decades in prison. This is the journey of how she navigated through the system, her struggles, and challenges.April Scales may be one of the most profound inmates that's ever served time. She entered the system at age 15 but continues to better herself while fighting for her freedom. April has accomplished more in her incarcerated lifetime than many do that are free. She continuously proves that you can lock a person's body away but not their mind or their will to change. April is also a paralegal, personal trainer, mother, wife, advocate, and public speaker. She enjoys being at one with nature in her spare time
