À propos des auteurs

The Write Bridge Literary Journal was created by Maureen "Micki" Carroll and Anamcara Press in 2021 in celebration of art and community, and in support of authors and artists in their creative endeavors.

Assistant Editor and Publicist, Amber Fraley is your typical Gen Xer suburban Kansas wife and mom of one who grew up a book nerd in a dysfunctional family and now writes about those experiences as hilarious therapy. She's the author of the humorous essay collection From Kansas, Not Dorothy, and the viral essay "Gen X Will Not Go Quietly," as well as numerous human interest articles. Amber loves Kansas with all her heart, is frequently awkward in public, and desperately wishes to see a tornado and live to tell the tale.

Beth Gulley lives and works in the Kansas City area. She teaches English at Johnson County Community College. She has nine books of poetry including Frog Joy, runner up for the Amity Prize in 2023, and Since Corona Ruined Our Trip to the Library, winner of the Kansas Authors Club Chapbook Prize in 2023. Recently, she published in 105 Meadowlark Reader, What's the Deal With Alien Buddha Part 2, and 365 Days: A Poetry Anthology. She is part of the Kansas Author's Club, the Riverfront Reading group and the Writers Place.
