Paperback. Etat : new. Paperback. The Wild Garlic Manifesto is a call to readers to reclaim a sense of wonder in the world around them. With wit and heartfelt wisdom, Martin Settle has crafted nature poems that carry out what astronomer and poet Rebecca Elson called "a responsibility to awe." In this work, Settle suggests that our species' spiritual survival depends on its ability to hitch the human imagination to the greater evolutionary imagination. In answer to the quicksand philosophies and exhausted religious theologies of our times, he claims there is food enough for the monastery of the mind in the great symbiosis of ecology. The Wild Garlic Manifesto, a poetry collection by Martin Settle, is a call to readers to reclaim a sense of wonder in the world around them. This item is printed on demand.
