Synopsis

Notice of Eviction!
Dan-an average guy trying to enjoy a temporary job assignment in Puerto Rico-finds himself in a deadly game of cat and mouse when he unintentionally discovers a mysterious stone. Forced to run for his life, he reaches out to his best friend Aleecia Donnelly.
Aleecia-who lives within a meticulously cultivated routine that avoids most people and side-steps conflict-is launched into a harrowing search for an ancient artifact, and is cast into the covert world of the Crew, a clandestine group fighting the eviction process facing humankind. Now Aleecia must transform from a self-imposed seclusionist to guardian of the masses or millions may die.
This compelling combination of history and myth will suggest a radical alternative to evolution that explores a newfound reality and examines everything believed to be factual about our world. Science fiction meets thriller in this twisting tale of ancestral warfare.

À propos de l'auteur

I could break into the standard blurb like - Douglas Hoover lives with his wife Cheryl in Charlevoix, Michigan - and such, but it always seemed so clinical to me. Instead, I'll just give you a run down on how I got on this path.I first discovered my passion for writing as a young teen, but a lack of mentoring, and encouragement left those paths distant. I've always written stories as a hobby and those stories became my escape to better places. After a successful battle with cancer, my wonderful wife, Cheryl, asked me to pursue my true passion and begin writing full time. So I put aside my multimedia design business to follow this path.
