What if the legends of Atlantis were true?

In the twilight of the Ice Age, Atlantis and Rama are locked in a deadly conflict—a battle between empires that will shape the course of humanity. Steel clashes with Aether-driven aircraft as ancient civilizations wield powers beyond imagination.

Risor, a flying squadron commander, never sought glory. But after outmaneuvering his rival in a dangerous trap, he becomes a marked man. In the cutthroat world of Atlantean politics, no one forgets a slight. As Atlantis crumbles, Risor must fight for his life and the survival of his entire colony.

Far to the east, infantry commander Rogat is hunted by a god-anointed hero bent on his defeat. As Rogat repeatedly outwits his nemesis, their clash becomes an epic game of cat and mouse. But with a group of survivors depending on him, can Rogat escape the grasp of a divine champion?

The Power of Water is an unforgettable saga of revenge, survival, and divine retribution. The fall of Atlantis is not just the end of a civilization—it's the birth of a legend that echoes through time, its effects still shaping the world today.

“This uses the mythology element in a way that I was looking for, it uses the Atlantis setting as a perfect backdrop. The war was realistic and enjoyed how everything worked with the plot of the story.” Goodreads, June 2024

À propos de l'auteur

He is an IT professional with a passion for writing and lives in Kawasaki, Japan.James has always had a creative imagination, and even during his time in the Navy, he would often daydream about different stories. It wasn't until 2014 that he finally decided to put pen to paper and began writing a fantasy tale centered around Atlantis. Learning that marketing is also important, he thought making a movie out of his story would be a good marketing plan. Over the next few years, he transformed his story into a grand epic, adapting it into a screenplay. The Doom of the Gods series is based on this screenplay.Having caught the writer's bug, he continues to write other stories, including children's stories, initially for his grandchildren and career advice based on his experience.
