Before becoming a writer, she earned her clinical doctorate for physical therapy and worked as a licensed physical therapist. That role gave her a chance to help people in her community, but left little room for creative expression. In 2020, in a leap of faith, she left her job to start over. The years that followed brought their share of uncertainty and underemployment, but they also sparked a deeper understanding: true transformation-both personal and collective-often begins with spirituality and the arts. Together with her co-author, Roi Qualls, she founded Knowetix to explore these themes. Through their work, they hope to inspire others to grow, create, and build stronger communities.Beyond writing, H.E. Wallace's interests include reading, visual arts; music, audiobooks, and podcasts; threadworks, nature walks, and travel. She currently lives in a seaside Washington town near her mother who was the first to encourage her to write.

Roi Qualls conceived his first novel, INTERWOVEN, in 2013, and it would not leave his mind. A decade later, he retired from his career as a database architect to bring it to life with co-author H.E. Wallace. Together, they launched Knowetix in 2023-a creative collaborative rooted in storytelling, spirituality, and the vision of a just and unified future. Roi studied philosophy and education at Earlham College before moving into software development. Over the years, he co-founded several startups-some were successful, others not so much - but all held important life lessons.Deeply committed to community building, Roi actively supports efforts to advance racial harmony and justice. He lives in beautiful Yellow Springs, Ohio, with Linden, his wife of 45 years. They have two daughters and four grandchildren who bring them daily clarity and joy.Amid a busy life, Roi finds peace in the company of the wildlife in his backyard and hope in the belief that stories-honest, courageous ones-can move hearts, shift thinking, and give strength in the struggle to shape a better world.

She offers freelance art and photography services across a wide range of subjects, including fashion, education, and personal expression. Beyond her artistic work, she is actively involved in grassroots community initiatives, supporting youth in developing their intellectual potential, moral awareness, and ability to create positive change in society.
