Synopsis

Before You Help Them Change reminds us that God always begins His work in the helper before He uses the helper to change others. This book is not about fixing people; it's about forming disciplers. With clarity, warmth, and gospel realism, Rick Thomas demonstrates how humility, self-awareness, and Spirit-dependence make us safe and wise guides for those we love. Whether you're a parent, pastor, or friend, you'll learn why transformation begins with your own repentance, character, and cooperation with the story God is writing in the lives of others. Before you counsel, comfort, or correct, let God change you first.
