À propos de l'auteur

Robert Carruth, or Bob, or Bobby, depending on when in his life you first met him, has turned his life-long love of history into a budding writing career, with the focus of his stories intended to be set within the real events and life stories occurring in and around the northeast Georgia hills in which he was born and raised. A native of Gainesville, Georgia, Robert graduated from the University of North Georgia in 1983. He spent eleven years in the US Army, serving in intelligence, special operations, and logistics units, that included an all-expense paid trip to Saudi Arabia for eight months during Operations Desert Shield & Desert Storm. Following his military career, Robert became involved with a ministry that provided aid to children from Belarus affected by the Chernobyl nuclear disaster, worked as a safety manager in a chicken plant, and has spent the majority of his time working in local government as an elected official and risk management professional. He currently resides in Cabarrus County, NC. He has been married for over 40 years to the same beautiful lady, and has been blessed with four adult children, four grandsons, and several fur-babies.
