Synopsis

I write from the places that hurt, heal, and ultimately shape who we are. My poetry is born from deeply felt love, cherished family, and the losses that have carved both silence and strength into my soul. Growing up in a small town, I felt the weight of things I thought would always remain with me. When they were taken away, I turned to words. Writing became my lifeline-a means to grieve, to remember, and to find hope.

Each poem I compose is a thread woven from my story: the ache of goodbyes, the laughter of childhood, and the quiet courage discovered amid chaos. These words reflect not just pain, but also the reminder that beauty can grow from broken ground. Even in the hardest moments, I believe there is something redemptive waiting something sacred in the act of simply continuing.

This book reflects the pathways carved in my heart for God, love, life, dreams, friends, loss, tragedy, and hope. It stands as a testament to my journey, imbued with the winds of searching and reflection. Some of it may come across as comical, while other parts are more serious or nuanced-painted in words. I hope you enjoy it as much as I have enjoyed recovering the trails etched in the words of my life.
