Brian L. Reece is a retired Air Force Colonel with twenty-six years in special operations and strategic command, decorated with 2 Legions of Merit, a Bronze Star, and 9 Air Medals. His career included classified operations, intelligence work, and strategic planning, which informs the authenticity of his fiction. During his career, he flew MH-53, UH-1, and Mi-17 helicopters with over 380 hours of combat time. Brian holds master's degrees in business, history, and strategy. At Air War College, he won the Nowak Award and graduated with highest distinction. As an adjunct professor at the US Army Command & General Staff College, he taught international engagement and interagency affairs, providing unique insight into governmental complexities. His creative background includes work as a SAG actor, semi-finalist in the PAGE International Screenwriting Awards, and experience as a film industry technical advisor. This combination of visual storytelling and firsthand military expertise uniquely positions him to craft technically accurate, yet cinematic stories. He is currently the president of a consulting firm that specializes in education and military instruction. He lives in Texas with his wife and three children. He writes for readers who want their thrillers smart, their action authentic, and their heroes complicated.
