Willem Maurits Roggeman is a Flemish poet, novelist, essayist, playwright, and art critic. His poetry has been widely translated, and he is a regular guest at international poetry festivals. He has also published four novels, several collections of articles on artists, and highly regarded interviews with writers. He has received several literary prizes in many countries, including the Netherlands, Belgium, Italy, and Lithuania.

Philippe Ernewein is a native of Turnhout, Belgium. He is the Director of Education at the Denver Academy in Denver, Colorado, USA. This is Philippe's second book of translations of Mr. Roggeman's poetry. Philippe's published work can be found at www.rememberit.org.
