David Evan Cunningham is a middle-grade fantasy author, screenwriter, and animation professional based in Virginia Beach, where he lives with his wife and three fun-loving boys. His search for truth, goodness, and beauty has driven him to write larger-than-life adventures for a new generation of readers. He is the author of the middle-grade fantasy novel Marco Swift and the Mirror of Souls and the co-creator, showrunner, and writer of the anime-inspired series Gabriel and the Guardians, distributed globally by Angel Studios and Toonz Media Group. His additional animation credits include the long-running Superbook series and Superbook GizmoGO!. When not writing, Cunningham can be found voicing cartoon characters, creating animated children's shows, and exploring the wilderness with his family. He is the writer of the Gabriel and the Guardians manga, published through RippaSend.
